Liz made a New Year’s Eve Facebook post yesterday that I think appropriately sums up our gratification for 2013. Here it is for those of you who are not on FB.
2013 has been an amazing year for me.
I lost myself so I could be found.
I live in the biggest, smallest community I know with an amazing group of people who show me love and who genuinely seem to like being around me as much as I enjoy being around them.
I love and live with my best friend, who supports me and puts up with me just the way I am.
I have a loving and close-knit family.
Feeling very blessed as 2013 comes to a close.
2014 you have a tough act to follow. I’m nervous, but excited to see what you have in store for me.
