As I sit at the airport dragging seven cases of equipment on my way back to Virginia for a one day shoot I’m aware that this wild journey started one year ago today with L’s job offer requiring a relocation to Southern California.
Much like our first two weeks in CA lady January today is a dull rainy day very different from a CA tourist brochure.
For the next year, each day will be its own individual one year anniversary of planning, saying good-bye to Virginia friends, traveling across the country in a winter storm, three months of searching in SoCA for a place to relocate to, seeing new places for the first time, meeting new friends, etc.
For all of you who have been along with us on our journey and to those of you who have crossed our paths in the past year, we say THANKS!
